Nick Herrick
Nick, a California native with over 19 years of experience, has maintained a lifelong passion for art. He studied fine arts at a community college, laying the foundation for his artistic career.
In August 2006, Nick began his tattoo apprenticeship and went on to work in multiple tattoo studios while balancing other jobs. This period allowed him to gain valuable hands-on experience and further refine his craft. Over time, he recognized that the traditional shop environment did not fully support his artistic growth. Through relocation and the evolution of his approach, Nick found his niche with the continued support of friends, family, and a loyal client base—support that has been instrumental in his development as an artist.
While Nick does not confine himself to a single style, he specializes in realism and mixed-media–inspired tattooing. His background in welding and graphic design provides a strong technical foundation, enabling him to approach tattooing with precision, structure, and a deep understanding of composition.
For Nick, tattooing is more than a service—it is a transformative and collaborative process for both artist and client. Even after thousands of tattoos, each piece offers a new perspective. He believes no tattoo is too small, as every design holds personal meaning for the individual who wears it.
Nick is deeply committed to collaborating with clients to create custom artwork that brings their vision to life, transforming ideas into meaningful, lasting works of art on the canvas of the skin.
